FRIENDS OF THE SHASTA COUNTY LIBRARY
Each branch of the Shasta County Library has a Friends group. Friends are nonprofit volunteer organizations dedicated to the
support of our free public libraries. The membership believes in the importance of libraries for the enlightenment, education and well-being of citizens.
Friends in Redding, Anderson, and Burney help the library buy books and necessary equipment,
organize special events and programs, and support the staff however they can. Members receive a quarterly Newsletter which provides current information on Library hours and programs. Inquire at your
